Dr. Oyelekan,Oloyede Solomon is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Science Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained his Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Ilorin in 2009. Dr. Oyelekan won the National Universities Commission (NUC) Best Doctoral thesis award in the field of Education for the year 2009. Amongst other positions, he had served as the Acting Head of the Department. He also served as the Managing editor of Ilorin Journal of Education, a publication of the Faculty of Education. Dr. Oyelekan’s research interest is in the area of instructional strategies and designs, and the use of ICT in science instruction. He has supervised nine master’s degree projects to completion and has about forty articles in peer-reviewed academic journals, books, and conference proceedings. He also authored a book titled “A practical guide to writing academic research reports in education and the social sciences”.
